Nier Automata Game is an action and role playing video game developed by PlatinumGames. It is the same as the Nier game and the Drakengard series. This game was released on 23rd February 2017 for different platforms like PS4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.

NieR Automata creates a unique story where androids are crafted to fight alien machines. The game follows the trials of combat and the journey of fugitives, with multiple playthroughs that reveal different story elements. Furthermore, the gameplay combines role-playing elements with action-based combat, shifting between various video game styles, similar to Nier, and also includes elements of adventure.

The Nier: Automata has standard navigation on a pilot and flying mech to combat enemies. The previous game camera shifts the third-person perspective overhead area, including platforming elements. Players can also complete quests given by non-playable characters (NPCs). Additionally, shops are located in hub areas, where players can recover health. Nier Automata offers five main endings, labeled A to E, and also includes additional endings from F to Z.
These endings are triggered by performing various actions and losing certain battles.
The combat in Nier Automata is hack-and-slash action-based, where players can use light attacks and evades to temporarily dodge and land heavy attacks. The player can assist by pod and robot launch, customizable from simple gunfire to heavy hammer attacks. The player is able to bring weapons in fighting and the player can attack with different types of weapons: short swords, long swords, and it can also be charged for increased damage.
