Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is a role-playing game. The Player has the role of the warrior called Talion. Talion wants to take revenge on Sauron’s forces because they killed Talion’s wife, son, and family. The player can travel from one location to another location in town using parkour, riding beasts, or getting to Forge Towers. The phantom of the Elven Lord, Celebrimbor, can use his ability to keep the Player alive, close by gifting him a power. The main story missions are how the player(Talion) takes revenge on his enemy by completing one task after another. The side tasks of the game are that the player needs to free the human slaves captured by the Sauron army and force them to work for him.
