The Iron Harvest is a video game based on World War I. It is set in Leinieu, a town on the German-occupied French-Leben River, during the early stages of the war. The Iron Harvest is often cited as similar to World War II’s Operation Bobcat. Though the game is much more than that, with gameplay presenting combat in the vein of World War I.

As one of the single-player games on the market, several multiplayer modes are available. All of which utilize the same open-source game engine. The single-player mode allows players to experience the classic elements present. In the single-player mode, building up an arsenal, using command points earned by kills to buy and customize different weapons, using command points to purchase supplies vehicles forth. In this game, you can try to earn the highest score possible and collect the most cargo load (which unlock special items for customization), recruit new soldiers, and get the most significant payload possible. You can even play versus the computer, where your objective is to make it to the island with the newest ordinance intact. On the way to achieving this goal, you’ll need to use various resources, including air units, boats, rations, troops, armour, explosives, and others.
