Amnesia: Rebirth gameplay
Amnesia: Rebirth features several unique characters along with some truly bizarre storyline. The game is very much like its predecessors, with each room having a list of items within a few steps. Additionally, a journal reveals the location of every item found in a room – be it behind a painting, directly above a wall, or inside a secret passageway.
This game’s basis is almost identical to that of the original, only with the story being told from the point of view within the amnesia induced state. It’s interesting to note that the game utilizes the same engine as the successful horror games of earlier years, namely the tile-based movement system. Most interesting, though, is that the game retains much of the visual style of its predecessors. It yet to introduces a few twists here and there that make Amnesia: Rebirth a unique game in the genre.
