Post scriptum Gameplay
As the story goes, the game occurs during post-World War II, when the world has been relatively uneventful since Japan’s attack. However, the enemy is moving in on the British territory and must be stopped before it can strike its devastating blow. Players take on Corporal John Dent’s role, a veteran of the war who now finds himself in charge of leading operations in a sleepy town called Postcriptum. One of the first things you’ll learn about the game is that it is a first-person shooter (FPS). This means that the camera will always point at the player character, giving the player a unique perspective on the action. Because this is done through the first-person view, there is a certain degree of stealth involved in playing.

As a result, those playing will find themselves in slightly more intense situations than the average FPS. For example, a hostile group of enemies may surround your position and be just minutes from shooting you. However, you’ve invested much time into building up your armour and skills, and you’ve taken several bullet Aiming Systems to increase your chances of hitting your targets. In other words, you’re not going to be shot down quickly. You can run, gun down the attackers, and come out victorious. Despite being in an intense game, Post Scriptum runs relatively smoothly, even on the lowest settings. It doesn’t have any fancy graphics, but the effects are realistic enough to make the player feel like they’re in a dark, quiet place. Ellensburg has put a lot of effort into developing the game, and the effects are surprisingly well done.
